FaceTite is a state-of-the-art treatment that uses radiofrequency energy to tighten skin and stimulate collagen production. It is a minimally invasive surgery for mild excess skin and fat under the chin.
FaceTite is often combined with a minimally invasive form of liposuction to liquefy and remove submental fat. The treatment leaves only tiny, virtually invisible scars. This procedure is used to treat submental fat under the chin and help contour the jawline.
For some patients, Dr. Wilson will recommend combining this treatment with MyEllevate for a more contoured jawline.
Who is a good candidate for this procedure?
Generally healthy adults (18+) who are non-smokers. Facetite is most effective for patients in their 20’s and early 30’s as it relies heavily on collagen stimulation, which we start to lose with age.
What is the downtime?
Downtime for FaceTite is roughly 1 week.
Is this done in the office or under anesthesia?
This varies depending on your health history and conversation with Dr. Wilson. Many patients are good candidates to do this procedure awake in our surgical suite in our office, while some others are better candidates to go to the hospital and have this done under anesthesia.
