Who is a Candidate for AquaGold?
Most of our patients who are looking to improve their skin tone and skin texture, reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles and acne scars, and shrink enlarged pores are good candidates for the AquaGold treatment. Beyond that, we recommend you meet the following criteria:

- Not having any active skin infections, open sores, or rashes

MEET DR. WILSONThe AquaGold Procedure
To start your AquaGold procedure, we’ll begin by cleansing the skin. Since the procedure is completely painless, no anesthetic is needed. Once the treatment area is cleaned, we’ll apply custom serums to the skin and then use the AquaGold device to make tiny punctures in the skin. The device uses 24-karat gold-plated microneedles to make micro-injuries. You may feel a slight tingling sensation, but you shouldn’t feel any pain.
While it can depend on the size of the treatment area, treatment typically takes about 30 minutes. We recommend receiving a series of three treatments for optimal results.
Aftercare
After your AquaGold treatment, you may have some redness, but that will dissipate within a few hours to a day. You will want to avoid excess sun exposure for at least 24 hours and abstain from makeup for a few hours. Beyond that, you can return to your normal routine.
As for results, you will see some improvements immediately, but it can take a few weeks for the collagen and elastin to build up in the skin and to see more significant results. To maintain your results, you will want to receive monthly or quarterly treatments.
